National Night Out, New Hope's Night to Unite is August 3, 2021. Registration is now open and the first 40 parties to register by June 25 will receive a party pack!

What is National Night Out?
National Night Out, New Hope's Night to Unite is an annual community-building campaign that takes place each year on the first Tuesday in August.

National Night Out, New Hope's Night to Unite is designed to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our New Hope neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It is a great opportunity to speak with police officers, city staff, elected officials and representatives from organizations that serve the city of New Hope under positive circumstances.

Neighborhoods host a variety of different events including block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, sharing of safety and crime prevention strategies, visits from police, neighborhood walks, contests and much more.

Can I block my street for my party?
The required paperwork for a block party is available year-round. The block party paperwork is only needed if you intend to block the street for a block party set up in the roadway. If your group wants to block the street for National Night Out, the completed packet (including Appendix A and Request for Barricades) is due by July 9, 2021. Requests turned in late will not be approved to to the scope of this event.  For events any other time of year, follow the directions on the form.

Registration
Registration must be received no later than July 9, 2021. It's recommended that registration be completed as soon as possible, especially if you would like to request a visitor to stop by your event. The first 40 parties to register by June 25 are eligible for a free party pack!
