At its meeting of April 26, New Hope City Council adopted a resolution implementing the state performance measures and corresponding New Hope City Services Survey for 2021.

In 2011, the Minnesota Legislature’s Council on Local Results and Innovation released a standard set of ten performance measures for cities. The markers aid in measuring the public perception and effectiveness of services provided by the city. New Hope has participated in the program since its inception through the city’s annual survey.

At the April city council work session, New Hope City Council supported the addition of three new questions to upcoming 2021 survey related to the New Hope Aquatic Park and Civic Center Park, city information consumption and the COVID-19 pandemic.

City staff intends to begin distribution of the annual survey in July.
