Planning is underway for National Night Out, New Hope's Night to Unite for 2022 and registration is open!

National Night Out, New Hope's Night to Unite, is an annual community-building campaign on the first Tuesday in August. This year's event is scheduled for Aug. 2, 2022.

National Night Out/Night to Unite is designed to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our New Hope neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It is an excellent opportunity to speak with police officers, city staff, elected officials and representatives from organizations that serve the City of New Hope.

Neighborhoods host various events, including block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, sharing of safety and crime prevention strategies, visits from police, neighborhood walks, contests, and much more.

Event registration is open, and completed registration forms must be received by July 8 if requesting barricades or July 22 if barricades are not needed. It's recommended that registration be completed as soon as possible, especially if you would like to request a visitor to stop by your event. The first 50 parties to register are eligible to receive a free party pack.

Please contact Officer Brad Kallio at [email protected] or 763.398.1229 with any questions. We look forward to working together to build relationships, prevent crime and improve safety in New Hope!
