New Hope to Host City Day, Trunk or Treat Event
Posted on 09/26/2024
New Hope City Day is Thursday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at New Hope City Hall, 4401 Xylon Ave N. This community event is a great opportunity to learn more about the different departments within the City and how they contribute to keeping the City running smoothly. You can meet elected officials and City staff, and even get a close-up look at police, fire and public works vehicles. By popular demand, food trucks will be on site, offering a variety of delicious bites. There will also be fall-themed activities for kids and a chance to see the New Hope Human Rights Commission’s Colors of the World display, featuring artwork created by local kindergartners using crayons donated by the commission.
Stick around after City Day for a FREE Trunk or Treat event hosted by the New Hope Police Department. From 7 to 8 p.m., children and families are invited to make their way through the parking lot, collecting goodies at each stop. Participants are encouraged to bring something to use to collect treats, and family-friendly costumes are welcome.
