Online Payment Now Available for Building Permits

The city of New Hope knows not all home improvement projects are completed during normal business hours. That’s why we’re making it easier to apply and pay for permits as well as schedule inspections when it works for you.

Introducing Online Permit Payment: Online payment for all permits is now available via the ePermits portal. This includes permits requiring approval from one of our city inspectors prior to issuance. PayPal’s secure payment platform allows for easy payment by credit or debit card.

Online Inspection Scheduling: Last fall, the city launched online inspection scheduling for most inspection types. Inspections may be scheduled up to 10 days in advance using the ePermits portal. Same day inspection scheduling is not available.

Permit Applications: Permit applications for construction projects are available online. Completed applications can be emailed, faxed, mailed or submitted in person at City Hall (4401 Xylon Ave N) during normal business hours.
