APPLICANTS SOUGHT FOR NEW HOPE CITY COUNCIL
There will be a vacancy on the New Hope City Council effective January, 2025. The Council will fill the unexpired council member term through an appointment process in accordance with MS 412.02.
The New Hope City Council is seeking applicants from New Hope residents who are interested in being appointed to the Council to serve through Dec. 31, 2026. Applicants must be a resident of New Hope, eligible to vote in Minnesota, and at least 21 years of age.
To apply for the appointment, residents are asked to submit an application form accompanied by a letter of interest and a resume to New Hope City Clerk, 4401 Xylon Ave. N., New Hope, MN 55428. The application is available below or by contacting the city clerk at [email protected] or 763-531-5114. The deadline for applications is Friday, Dec. 6, at 4:30 p.m. An appointment will be made following City Council interviews with the applicants.
REPRESENTATIVES SOUGHT FOR
WATERSHED MANAGEMENT COMMISSIONS
The city of New Hope is seeking applications for persons interested in serving as a New Hope representative on the Bassett Creek or Shingle Creek Watershed Commission for a three-year term. Monthly meetings are held during business day hours. Applications are available on the city’s website (www.newhopemn.gov) or by calling the city clerk at 763-531-5114. It is desirable that applicants have environmental, planning or engineering background or experience with issues related to surface water drainage.
Applications must be received on or before December 12, 2024. Appointments will be made by the New Hope City Council.
