Residents of New Hope can dispose of leaves, brush and other yard waste free of charge at the Maple Grove Yard Waste Site. This privately owned recycling facility provides a convenient location for the community to recycle yard waste and organic materials.
The site is located at 10300 Maple Grove Parkway and operates Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. A valid picture ID is required for entry.
Accepted materials include:
- Leaves
- Grass
- Brush
- Garden waste (including apples, cornstalks, pumpkins, straw)
- Sod
- Dirt
- Aggregate (under two inches in diameter)
- Sand
The site is open from April 1 to Nov. 30 each year. It is closed on Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving.
