The City of New Hope will host its annual City Day on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at New Hope City Hall. This free, family-friendly event offers residents the chance to learn more about City services, meet elected officials, and connect with the people who keep New Hope running.
During City Day, visitors can stop by departmental tables inside City Hall to discover how city operations function, ask questions, and engage directly with elected leaders and staff. Outside, attendees can view police, fire, and public works vehicles up close while enjoying food from local food trucks.
In addition, the New Hope Human Rights Commission will present a special art exhibit featuring work created by local kindergartners that celebrates the community’s diversity.
Immediately following City Day, the New Hope Police Department will host Trunk or Treat from 7 to 8 p.m. in the City Hall parking lot. Families are encouraged to come in costume for a safe and fun Halloween-themed evening.
“City Day is a great opportunity for residents to see how local government works and to build connections with the people who serve the New Hope community every day,” said New Hope Mayor John Elder. “We encourage everyone to come out, learn something new, and enjoy a night at City Hall.”
