The City of New Hope, through the West Metro Fire-Rescue District, uses Smart911 to notify residents when there is an emergency.

Smart911 allows residents to:

• Receive real-time emergency alerts
• Create a secure safety profile that can help first responders during an emergency

If you haven’t already signed up, we encourage you to do so. Creating a profile is optional but can provide valuable information to emergency responders when you call 911.

You can register by downloading the Smart911 app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or by visiting newhopemn.gov/smart911.

The service is free to use. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
