Trail Improvements

Each year, some capital improvement dollars are set aside for maintaining trails. There is no set schedule for resurfacing trails throughout the city, but instead staff reviews trail surfaces at all parks and prioritizes maintenance based upon need and available budget.




In 2025, the following trail work is expected:

• Northwood Park, 3815 Boone Avenue - A portion of the trails will be reclaimed and overlayed. This project is being completed as part of the 2025 Street Infrastructure project. The timeline is yet-to-be-determined but is expected to take place mid-summer. There may be a delay from the time the existing trail bituminous is removed and the new trail is installed.
• New Hope Village Golf Course, 8130 Bass Lake Road - A portion of cart paths will be paved. This project is also being completed as part of the 2025 Street Infrastructure project. The timeline is yet-to-be-determined but is expected to take place mid-summer.
