Winners of the 2020/2021 Snowman/Snow Sculpture Contest were announced and recognized at the April 26 New Hope City Council Meeting.

This year’s contest win goes to Caroline, Isaac and Owen Donnay for “The Snowmen of New Hope are Also Slowing the Spread.” The creation features a frosty trio of masked and socially-distanced snowmen, along with a four-legged friend.

Second place in the contest goes to Jasper and Jordan Noll with their frozen duo of “Flash and Frosty.” In third place was “Dagda” created by the Hodgson family, a towering snow sculpture adorned with natural embellishments.

This was the fourth year of the contest, sponsored by the New Hope Citizen Advisory Commission. The contest ran through March 31 and was open to individuals, families, neighborhoods and groups within the city. Contest winners were given their choice of a cash prize or certificate toward New Hope Parks and Recreation programming.
